Make the Internet a Safer Place for Designers

One of my favourite things to do when feeling creative is to design stuff; I like to make things pretty. When ever I design a new website (usually this one) I come to a point where I’m really happy and go forward with putting up here on the web where all can see.

But then I fall into this trap where not ALL can really see the splendor and glory of my magnificent website - okay, maybe I’m over doing it. The point is this when you use Internet Explorer, it makes it very difficult on us designers to make websites look and play nice. Microsoft seems unable to play by the same rules as other developers for the web.

I’m in the midst of playing with a new design for the site, and would ask that you guys make it easy on yourselves and switch to browser that plays by the rules: Firefox or Opera (there are others, but I’m too lazy to look them up). If you’re dead set on Microsoft, at least upgrade to Internet Explorer 7 - I know there are still those who haven’t.

Please, for my sanity and others, make the internet a safer place for designers.
