Build a Relationship With God
God wants to hear from ME, from YOU. So, in those spare moments, walking here and there, eating, or doing whatever, just give God a shout out. Talk to Him throughout the day, and tell Him what’s on your heart, what you want, need, etc. It doesn’t have to be elaborate, just simple, short prayers to God.
Something I need to start doing more, short prayers, much more practical than long drawn out prayers. These short prayers will allow me to be in contact with God more and more throughout the day, keep my mind on God, and give Him my everything, my all. I can take this time to surrender my day to God, to talk to God, and then I listen to God by reading my Bible, and meditating on what I’ve read.

Sometimes it’s just difficult to hear God’s voice.

Yea, I find that sometimes too… Hearing God’s voice can be hard, but we are called to surrender to Him at all times, and give Him our all, regardless. So I just suggest pressing in, giving God every moment, recite short scriptures or small prayers through out the day, and read His word, and you will find that your relationship will grow.
Try reading Deuteronomy 31:6 and Psalm 34

Im taking a workshop on “building a relationship with God” on a high school youth camp; any suggestions on issues I could raise or interactive things I could do with them?
