I’ve been thinking about my website, and how un-fantastic it is right now. I hardly blog, and when I do, it’s just a promise that I will post later, which inevitably never happens. So, thinking about what exactly I’d like to say, and what I’d like to share, I realized what I call this blog: “Jeremy Curry: The Personal Website”. Funny, the name doesn’t capture what I’ve been doing, I’ve been anything but personal.

So, allow me to introduce myself. I want to let you in to my life, and let you know what I’m about. Don’t worry, I won’t let this site be like all those Live Journal people, that talk about what they did today, what they ate, and what they wore. No, I’d just like to give you a bit of my story, let you know what I’m passionate about, and why, and then grow off it. When you meet somebody new, sometimes you introduce yourself, and conversation just sparks up. I will do the same, and see what sticks… Where was I, oh yea, allow me to introduce myself…

My name, if you haven’t figured it out, is Jeremy Curry. As of writing this, I’m 18, and still in high school, grade twelve for the second time. I stayed for many reasons. We used to have a thing called OAC here in Ontario, Canada, which is like grade 13. OAC was done away with though, a few years back, I’m not sure why, but they did. In grade 9 I decided I was going to stay an extra year regardless, take my time, and figure out what I really wanted to do. Now here I am, still trying to figure out what I want to do, so many things I enjoy doing, possibly too many things I’m passionate about. I find it almost impossible just to pick one thing. I have a few ideas what I will be doing next year, but after that, it’s hard to be sure. I’m not ready to apply to university or college until I have at least narrowed my possibilities down to a small few.

Over the next week or two, I will explore what I do with my life now, and how that can possibly translate in to my future.
