I used to read a bunch, nearing the end of the school year. But I became overwhelmed with the mass of information I have read. So lately, I haven’t read very much. I’m planning to start to read more again, but I figure my problem must have been I was reading a bunch of stuff on leadership, that required I put what I learned, into practice… Since most of the books were all on the same subject, I think it confused me, a little, not having time to absorb, and use.

So, I have an idea that it might be best to occupy different areas of my brain, by layering what I read. So I plan to read either one book of each sort at a time, or one chapter of each type of book, and move on to the next. I want to read a leadership/character book, then a fictional book, perhaps a technical book (programming, design, etc) and then a history book.

Well, we’ll see how this plan goes… I will try and blog a little about the books I read, but we’ll see.
