A weekend, to bore all weekends.

On Thursday, May 21st, 1987, a little child named Jeremy was born. Its true, and he grew up to be an awsome guy. Well… He’d like to hope anyways. If you had heard the rumours, yes, they are true. Im now 18, as of Saturday. My bday usually falls on the weekend, more often than not, that I remember. It wasnt tooo exciting, got a Printer/Scanner/Photocopier all in one and some Cd’s, I had an appointment to apply for a Credit card first thing, then I worked for a few hours.

I stopped by the Ol’ Playhouse after City Kidz was over hoping to see some friendly faces… No luck, nothing… Kelly was the only one to really say “Happy Birthday”, and was semi-kind. Katherine too. But I guess I didnt leave much of a good impression when I left, because (excluding most adults, who werent really there) the volunteers were quite unfriendly with me. Oh well, I’m sure it was the long day. Then I spent some time working on some JWalkers Online stuff, a project Im working on. Called the Veldman house twice, trying to get a hold of David, Marcia picked up both times, she sounded a little… I dunno, maybe frustrated, but I understood, living in a house with so many… I get frustrated with just 4 others around. Any ways, she had Dave call back, and we hung out for a while, got some sweet photos. (Post later). We watched The Day After Tomorrow.

My parents called me there, they hadnt heard from me most of the day, my Mom was in Toronto for worship practice. They had let me know that my friend Jerome, who was born the very same day in 1987 as me, hadnt recieved anything, and wasnt really acknowledged by the fam. So I called him up, I left a message before, but He never got it. We talked for a bit, which was nice, we havent talked in a while, even though we live two blocks from eachother. Yea, so that was Saturday.

Sunday, and Friday I can sum up easily. Sunday, went to Church, caught Dave on the same bus up. Something the Pastor said sorta ercked me, so I looked it up in the Bible, on my PDA even. It was about prayer in tongues, and I got the impression that he believed that you needed tongues to be filled with the Holy Spirit. I tend to disagree with this view, that it seems most Pentecostal Churches have. I found in 1 Col 12 that we are each given different gifts, such as faith, and healing, and that included in the long list was tongues. Now I know that you don’t need the gift of healing to be Christian, so wouldnt the same be for tongues? Any ways go read that. Couldnt really follow the rest of what he was saying, David’s dad was right, not good to stay up late before you expect to listen to God’s word. After that, I went home, the Veldmans drove me. They drive me alot, thanx soo much Veldmans, you guys are great. So it was about 1, I fell asleep, and woke up at 5ish, ate, and then watched some wierd anime thing with my brother, called Narruto, or something. He has it on his computer. It sucks you in, but Im not a big fan, but at the same time, I have to watch when he has it on. Monday, I expected some QT, never happened, spent HOURS on my computer, trying to get assignments done. But the compute kept restarting, so I had to fix that first. Finally got it fixed around 5…. BAD!!! so I got a Math note copied from when I was away, and semi-finished a comic for Illustration. And that was the rest of my weekend.

Soo much for a short summary. Well, I’m going to try and write more, I actually came on to write about something else, but it will have to wait. I committed myself to doing school work until exams, so I have to get going. Hope all is well with you guys, and God bless.
